About Us
Supporting children, young people and families across Warwickshire.
The Warwickshire Child and Family Wellbeing service, delivered by HCRG Care Group on behalf of Warwickshire County Council, provides a wide range of services to support the health and wellbeing of children, young people and families – from pregnancy through to the age of 19, or up to 25 for those with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
By bringing together health visiting and school nursing into one joined-up offer, we focus on helping every child in Warwickshire have the best possible start in life and the ongoing support they need as they grow and develop.
We understand that every child and family is unique. That’s why our teams work with you to provide support that fits your individual needs – covering all aspects of health, growth and wellbeing, from infant feeding and development checks to emotional health and healthy lifestyles for school-aged children.
How we work
We provide care and support in a way that suits you and your family – whether that’s in your home, your child’s school, at a local clinic or Children and Family Centre, or in other community settings such as libraries and leisure centres.
Our experienced health visitors, school nurses and family wellbeing professionals are committed to:
- Supporting families early to prevent problems from becoming more serious
- Promoting healthy development, emotional wellbeing and resilience
- Reducing inequalities across Warwickshire’s communities
- Working closely with schools, GPs, social care and local partners to deliver joined-up support
In most cases, families are referred to us by their GP, midwife or another health or education professional. Some services can also be accessed directly through your local Children and Family Centre or by contacting our Single Point of Access (SPA) team for advice.
HCRG Care Group
‘We Care’, ‘We Think’ and ‘We Do’: We care about the person in front of us, we think about how to make things better for them and we do something about it.
Changing lives through transforming health and care
We’re proud to have made a positive impact up and down the country by designing and delivering services that address the wider economic, social, and environmental challenges faced by the communities we serve.
Health and care commissioners across the country trust us to work with them and their communities to transform services with a focus on experience, efficiency and improved outcomes. We deliver and transform adult and children community health services, primary care services including urgent care and sexual health as well as child and adult social care and wellbeing services.
Across England, we support communities of many millions and directly help more than half a million people each year.
